Obituary of Andrew Oras

Andrew Oras, age 81 died on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Cary North Carolina. He was born in Poland. Mr. Oras was a Holocaust survivor. He came to the United States in 1946 and built a successful career as an Investment Banker. He served in the army during the Korean War as a quarter master sergant stationed at Fort Dix, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret Racinski Oras; his daughter Sharon Morgan and her husband John of Wilmington DE; his son Jeffrey Oras and his wife Marie of Bridgewater and his granddaughter Christina. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8th at 9:15 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9.
