Obituary of Betty Becker

Betty Becker, 88, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at Hunterdon Healthcare in Flemington. She was born in Bayonne and had lived in Milford for 5 years. She was a beautician who apprenticed at beauty parlors in North Bergen and was also the proprietor of Beckers Tavern in Bayonne. She is predeceased by her husband, James W. Becker in 1977. Surviving are her children, Marianne Lavis of Advance, NC, Jaime Kiefer and William Kiefer of Milford and James Becker and his wife Rose of Watchung; her grandchildren, Patricia Harris, Lise Adelung and her husband Arthur, Jamie Hyres and her husband, Brian, and Nancy Messina and her husband Gregory; her great grandchildren, Erin Adelung, Trina Adelung, David Lee Harris, Dustin Lawrence Harris, Dillion Liam Harris and children to come. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 12:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. Interment is private. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
