Since my early years, I've always been made aware of Mrs. Van Blake through my mother. During my educational years, I became acquanted with the West Eighth Street household. Mrs. Van Blake's principles, standards, and strengths were made visible through her children whom I had the pleasure of attending school with. Mrs. Van Blake has completed her journey and stayed the course. May her legecy continue to be exhibited through the generations to follow.
