Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.
- A. Sachs
This is not the case with my Uncle John. Uncle John definitely knew how to live. He embraced life to the fullest and made sure everyone around him knew he loved them. I have fond memories of the fun and laughter we shared. He taught me to play pinball and how to work a juke box. Uncle John is one of the kindest, most generous men I have even known. It has been my honor to have been blessed with the love of such a wonderful person. Aunt Irene, I am truly sorry for your loss. Uncle John will forever be loved by the people who knew him and he will never be forgotten. Uncle John, rest in peace.

I am sorry to say that I don't have many of my own memories of Uncle John. However, I have been blessed to be able to talk to others who have fond memories of him. I have heard stories of how he made people laugh, how he was such a wonderful Godfather to my mother, how he let my sisters play pinball in his basement, which they loved and how he was , in general, a great man and I am certain that the world is a better place for having had him in it. Aunt Irene, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. All our love goes out to you during your difficult time. Uncle John, you will be missed by many. May you rest in peace.

Aunt Irene I am soo sorry for your loss.Uncle John was a wonderful man. I remember coming to your house when I was a kid and he would always joke and make us laugh. As hard as it is not having him here with us take comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven watching over us all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so thankful that my parents had the wisdom to choose Uncle John to be my Godfather, I couldn't of asked for a better one. The kindness and love bestowed upon me will never be forgotten. The laughter we shared is the most difficult to remember right now, yet it's also my comfort. I believe in Angels and I believe I now have another Angel in Heaven to call upon. Though it is difficult for us to get through at the present moment we will be ok. You will always have a special place in my heart. Uncle John - Rest in Peace.
