Obituary of Carol Costa

Carol Mleczko Costa, 46, died Monday, April 18, 2005 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Bound Brook. Born in Somerville, she was a lifelong Bridgewater resident. For the past 10 years, she was the proprietor of Paws & Purrs Pet Sitters in Martinsville. Previously, she was the proprietor of her own housekeeping business in the area. A 1977 graduate of Bridgewater High School East, Carol loved photography and animals. An adventurous spirit and love of outdoor activities led to her recent decision to take hang gliding and trapeze lessons and schedule a vacation to Colorado in June. Her father, Charles Mleczko predeceased her. Surviving are a daughter Rebecca L. Mikola and her husband Michael R. of Daytona Beach, FL; her mother, Mary Wojciechowski Mleczko of Bridgewater; a brother, Edward Mleczko and his wife Lucy of Bridgewater and two sisters, Barbara Massaro and her husband Jack of Piscataway and Jean Richards and her husband Ricky of Stockton. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by a 4:00 pm Memorial Service at the funeral home with Rev. Sean W. Kenney officiating.
