Rich & Linda Yuengel posted a condolence

Our deepest sympathy is with your family. What a blessing Herb was to us! This past summer we met him in person at Audrey & Andy's 50th Wedding Anniversary party. We exchanged email addresses and before not too long - we were in possession of some very valuable family geneology. Years and years of research - INVALUABLE to our family. He spent countless amounts of time compiling it and wanted it shared. We intend on making it available to all those who are interested. The time and love put into tis project will continue. Thanks to his willingness to share, we can all learn of our heritage. I believe it was meant to be that we met and part of God's greater plan. We will always remember his warmth and generosity. I'm so glad I had the chance to meet Herbert Van Blarcum a few times...I saw him as a loving Dad and Grandpa showing courage, love, caring and support to all of his family through some very difficult times...and he did so with frequent smiles! My prayers are with you Evelyn, and all your children and their families.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with you all on the lost of Herb.
Tom and I will always have memories of when you lived in Louisiana and how good you were to Mom, she loved it while you were here.
We would love to come to the funeral but at this time we are both recovering from knee surgery.
We love you all.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Herb. When Norman and I were at the Mt Horeb church, the whole Van Blarcum family was wonderful to us, and I especially remember your helpfulness when our daughter, Kristy, was ill as an infant. I wish that I could attend the funeral service but at this point it looks as if I will not be able to do so. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God bless you. --Barbara Hansen and Family
