When I think of Joe the first thing that I think of is his laugh and smile. Always a warm handshake and a kiss hello. We've known the Nolan family since we were all kids. Going over on Sunday's after mass. Us kids going for walks over to the A & P. All the Thanksgiving dinners, pinics, countless parties, weddings and christenings. So many other ocassions, when Brian became a priest and Brendan a police officer and the unbearable sadness of losing Maureen.
There were so many wonderful times and happy memories. The vacations with my parents and the good times they all had. I so enjoyed all Joe's stories about Ireland, the land he loved so. I smile when I close my eyes and remember all the times I heard him sing. He was a man that was a loving husband to Essie and loving father to Brian, Brendan and Maureen. A true best friend to my parents. Joe was a warm and gentle man.
We are all better people and blessed to have had Joe Nolan a part of our life. We will keep Essie, Brendan and Brian in our prayers to find the strength from God.
Til we met again....
All our love & prayers,
