Obituary of Joseph P. Nolan

Joseph P. Nolan Loving Husband & Father Edison: Joseph P. Nolan, age 76, died on Friday, July 15, 2005 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and had lived in Newark before moving to Edison in 1967. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Nolan was a Teamster for Wakefern Food Corporation in Elizabeth for 32 years. He was a member of the Tara Association of Milltown. He also was an avid reader and was very interested in the news. He loved traveling, especially his twice yearly trips to Ireland. He is predeceased by his daughter, Maureen Nolan in 1995. Mr. Nolan is survived by his wife, Esther Matthews Nolan; his sons, Sgt. Brendan Nolan of the NYPD who lives in the Riverdale Section of the Bronx and Reverend Brian Nolan, Pastor of St. Marys Stony Hill RC Church in Watchung ; a brother, Michael Nolan and a sister, Maureen Browne, both of Dublin, Ireland. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18th at 9:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Marys Stony Hill RC Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m
