Obituary of Gerald E. “Jerry” Glaser

Gerald E. Jerry Glaser, 56 died on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Somerset Medical in Somerville. He was born and raised in Summit and had been a Warren resident for 25 years. Mr. Glaser was the owner of Hollywood Florist, Inc., in Union which was started by his father. He was a freshwater fisherman and belonged to the Knee Deep Hunting and Fishing Club of Lake Hopatcong. He is survived by his wife, Lynne J. Waldrip Glaser; his sons, Gerry Glaser, Fred Glaser, Frank Glaser and Greg Pace; his daughters, Eve Glaser, Emmi Glaser and Lisa Standridge; his brother, Ron Glaser and his sisters, Virginia Bentz and Carol Haws. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Owen, Zoe, Jack and Luke. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. Cremation will be private.
