Today it's been 19 years without you. I miss your laugh, your silliness, your ability to love so hard, and your funny sarcasm. I miss that we wouldn't need words -- just a look and we knew what we were thinking. You were so near and dear to my heart and my soul sister. I love you each day still. xxoo

And we think about You so much, especially when I need to talk like we used to or Brian when we go out to have fun & dance - like no one is watching us. It brings tears to our eyes, but don't worry - these tears are of joy...the happiness You brought us & how much we love You! All mof us, Kelly & I were missing You this Summer again.
We moved to Red Bank a year ago, just a bike ride from Elke, Gary & the girls - they are so beautiful & we can see You in them. I think You helped us in our move down here in some way...Next we meet up with them, we'll give them all a big hug for You. We Love You Karin !

today would have been your 35th birthday, but we all still remember you as 33. I can still see your face clearly, your protruding upper lip, the little mole on the side of your nose, and the very slight hint of wrinkles by your eyes, that used to remind me that you were no longer my baby sister. I see your golded sun streaked hair in Anjas' and Ava's each day, a constant remider of you. You will forever be kept so beautiful in our minds, as we remember you at 33. I think of you, and miss you every single passing day. I will love you always.

Kar-
A hundred times a day you find a way into my thoughts and I want to reach for the phone or find you online and chat with you...I miss you terribly. My mind is flooded with memories of all the laughs we had, the escapades we shared, how we finished each other's sentences sometimes (because great minds think alike - haha), and all of the 'counseling' sessions we had with each other. I am, all at once, sad and yet so incredibly grateful that God graced me with a friend like you, not once, but twice. I am blessed to have all these memories to hold in my heart and console me now that you are not here. You will be in my heart, always, and forever you will be my "ray 'o sunshine". Karin, I am shocked that you left this world so soon. I am sorry about the way our friendship ended. I guess we were just never meant to be roommates. I look back at our college years and my memories are filled with lots of fun times that I will never forget. We always did know how to get into trouble together. My favorite memories are of freshman year when we use to hang out with Brooks and Scott all the time, dancing on our beds to NIN, eating pizza's at 3am, ordering breakfast from havabite at 6pm on sundays cause we were too hung over to get out of bed, talking of what our lives might be like after college, just hanging out. I have thought about you over the years we didn't talk and wish now I would of just picked up the phone and said I was sorry. You did that once and saved our friendship. To Karin's friends, family and loved ones: I was shocked at hearing of Karin's tragic and untimely death. My only condolence is in a dream I had once. In my dream, I had died and was on my way to heaven. After leaving all the darkness, misery and unhappines of life, I was lead to a river where I was cleansed and emerged pure and clean. From there, I was lead to the Gates of Heaven, where I gazed upon a statute of Jesus made of the purest, whitest marble. I proceeded to sit at the foot of this statute, which was so huge that sitting at the big toe, I could not see to the top. As I was sitting there, waiting for my name to be called so that I may enter Heaven, I felt such peace and joy and love. It is my hope that Karin is there now, at peace and surrounded by love. May God Bless Karin and may he guide her toward her next journey.

A free spirited woman whose laughter echoes in my mind. Memories of our trip backpacking across Europe flood through my heart. A caring beautiful friend who loved life to the fullest, never worried about perfection or lived for other's approval. But in the way she lived her life, the moments you were with Karin, she was perfectly happy and never had a worry. She had that effect on all those around her with her positive outlook on life and desire to just be.
Karin, you will be greatly missed.

Dear Mrs. Clark and family,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Our daughter, Deborah (D'Angelo) McGrath, went through middle and high school with Karin and they were good friends. We know what you are going through...we've been there. We also lost a child, Bill, when he was 22 years old in an automobile accident. Please know we do not lose our children. We carry them with us in our hearts and they are always with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To my very giving, caring and loving friend:
I will always have fond memories of the time we had together. I miss you dearly and will carry you with me for the rest of my life. I know you would appreciate the following as it was one of your favorite Beatles songs, I'll Follow the Sun:
One day you'll look to see I've gone
For tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
Some day you'll know I was the one
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come
and, my love, I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come
and, my love, I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun

I had not known you long. John told me it would be fun to do things with you and Don. When we met, I knew he was right. We are sorry there wasn't more time, but we are gratefull for the short time we had. Our thoughts and prayers are with Don and your family. May you rest peacefully.
Love,

Dear Mrs. Clark & Family,
I recently heard through my mother Pam Comi of Karin's passing. Karin was a friend of mine through middle and highschool. She was a wonderful person and my memories of Karin have stayed with me. Although we had lost touch since highschool, I will never forget her. She was a beautiful, kind and caring person. I am so sorry for your loss.
