Obituary of Karin B. Bahner
Karin B. Bahner, age 33 died on Sunday, October 2, 2005 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Recklinghausen, Germany and later moved to the United States. She grew up in Bridgewater, NJ and had lived in Manhattan and Ossining, NY before moving to Carmel, NY a year ago. She graduated from Bridgewater High School East in 1990. Karin earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications from George Mason University in 1994. She enjoyed golf, bike riding, hockey, namely, the Rangers, walking on the beach and especially loved spending time with her nephews and nieces. Karin also was a jewelry maker and designer with her sister. She was a Regional Manager for Wilder Balter Properties in Elmsford, NY. Miss Bahner is predeceased by her father, Franz Bahner in 2002. She is survived by her mother, Ute (Blomann) Clark and her husband, Rev. Gil Clark of Warren; her brother, Martin Bahner and his wife Susan and their children, Kathryn, Matthew and Michael, all of Doylestown, PA; her sister, Elke Merz and her husband, Gary and their children, Anja and Ava, all of Red Bank,NJ, her grandmother, Margot Blomann of Herne, Germany and her beloved boyfriend, Donald Baughman of Carmel, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 6th at 8:00 P.M. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. . Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 3550 North Central Ave, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 88012-2127.
