To the family of Linda Gottfrid...
I had the honor of working beside Linda as an English teacher at the Center School for six years.I remember her as a sage advisor of integrity and honesty, a teacher respected by students for her knowledge of history but more so for her compassion for them. A geniune friend was she, sincere and thoughtful. We shared may laughs and hers was jubilant and full of joy. Her smile I remember as radiant, a vibrant window to her soul. We chatted about her children,the depth of her pride almost palpable. Her beloved husband, Joe, an enviable marriage of 42 years, one of mutual love and respect between best friends, lifetime friends, a blessing for which I know she was truly grateful. Although, it was indeed too short, hers was a life well lived for she loved life, loved many, and many loved Linda. My prayers are with all who remember her today.
