Joe was a wonderful man and a dear friend. His smile lit up the room. While in my care he shared his skills in painting and cooking with the residents in the Lighthouse. Music brought Joe great joy, especially singing. One recent memory was when we discovered a box of hats & Joe tried on a hunting cap with the furry flaps that cover your ears. He wore it all afternoon with exuberance! We spent many hours discussing the things that were most important to us. He always spoke of his beloved wife, Esther and the wonderful family he cherished. I know that although Joseph has left us he will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time.
