Obituary of Joseph M. Lences

Joseph M. Lences, age 86, died on Friday, December 23, 2005 at Harborside Health Care center in Bridgewater. He was born in Queens, NY and had lived in Hillsborough and Plainfield before moving to Bridgewater. Mr. Lences served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was a custodian for Rutgers University in New Brunswick. He enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Lences is predeceased by his wife, Esther Ennis Lences in 1989. Surviving are his brothers, Charles Lences of Parsippany and John Lences of North Plainfield and his sister, Mary Telychan of Edison. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 11:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Rosedale cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be on Monday from 7-9 pm only.
