I will miss my Uncle Dick but I will always smile when I think of him. I know he wants me to smile. He was always fun loving and making us laugh when we were kids. I respected my Uncle Dick as he was one of my father's dearest friends. He is in a better place than we are now, in the brilliant presence of God. I am thankful for having him as my Uncle and thankful for the hope that we will see him there some day.

Mrs. Klenert & family,
I worked for Dick in the Payroll Dept. at Bell Labs when he returned from Columbus. I was the gal-friday at the front desk and handled his mail and clerical functions. He was a wonderful boss to all and a fine friend. He was also a great accountant.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Dick was a true gentleman and gentle person. He was most supportive of me throughout my 40-year career at Bell Labs. I will always treasure fond memories of Dick during that historic era. I especially remember when we both worked for Norm Pancoast and Larry LeMasters. We would often talk, console and support one another. He will be truly missed.
