My Uncle John was simply..... one of a kind. He was the most kindest, generous and loving person I have ever known and I was proud to have called him my Uncle. He has been the foundation of our family for as long as I can remember. He always had a smile on his face and a carefree attitude. Money was never an object to him, as long as he made someone else happy. There were no limitations on anything......which led to his philosphy to live life to the maximum potential. It is very difficult to imagine life without him. Even though they say God takes the very best, I still cannot understand why he took him away from us. From the words of the priest today.......it was said that we all take something with us from our deceased loved ones. I have taken from my Uncle his ability to live life to the fullest, be kind and generous to others and they will be to you, and to smile....even through the roughest moments. As his entire family struggles through these tough days ahead, I am confident he is with us in spirit and watching over all of us. To my family.....I love you all so very much. I know that we will all be there for one another because of our endless committment to one on the most important things in life......family.

Marie, don't know if you remember the name, I worked at Hermann Forwarding with you. I was shocked to read of John's passing. I just wanted to let you know I have thought of you in the past and that my thoughts and prayers are with you now.

I met John DiCanto by becoming good friends with John and Arian and my children, Nina & Gina with his grandchildren, Brianna & Samantha and I know he was devoted to them and loved dearly by them. What an honor to know such an amazing person who loved his family so unconditionally.
God Bless him and his family.
Sincerely, The Carbonaro Family
