I was saddened to hear of Charlie's death. My memories of him go back 37 year to when my dad became the first police chief in Warren.
Working with Charlie in both the WTFD and WTRS, I fondly remember his friendly ways. For many years we would also see each other at the Country Squire while having breakfast at the counter, discussing current events.
I have been away from Warren now for many years, but will always cherish the times I spent there and the people I grew up around.
May his memory be eternal.
