Obituary of James Richardson
James Richardson, 65, died on March 24, 2006 at Somerset Medical Center. Mr. Richardson was born in Plainfield, raised in North Plainfield, and had resided in Watchung since 1970. Mr. Richardson served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He received his Bachelors Degree and Law Degree from Rutgers University. While at Rutgers he was President of his Fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon and also editor of the year book. Mr. Richardson practiced law in his own firm located in Watchung since 1970. He was the Municipal Prosecutor for Watchung and was appointed Municipal Court Judge in Watchung and Warren Township. He was a member of the NJ State Bar Association, and Past Trustee and President of the Somerset County Bar Association. He served on the Moot Court, and was a communicant of St. Marys Stony Hill R.C. Church in Watchung and was a Watchung Boro Volunteer Fireman. He is predeceased by his father, Willis Clay Richardson. He is survived by his former wife Judy Snoden; his mother Ann Theresa McNulty; two sons, James Richardson and his wife Lauren of White Township and Edward Richardson and his wife Michelle of Watchung; his brother John Richardson; his sister Carol Carrick; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Richardson and Lucas James Richardson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Visitation will be from 11:00 1:00 on Saturday prior to the memorial service, cremation was private. Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
