My condolences to the Brokenbough family. I used to be on the Nurse's Ministry with Ms. Mary and she was always such a sweet and wonderful person to be around. We were also in the same prayer group and she was truly a Christian!
You have lots of fond memories to rely on and know that she is with her heavenly Father who makes no mistakes. Hold on to His unchanging hand!
God Bless,

David,
There are few words that I could add at a time such as this. As I focus on my formative years, your mother played an important role and I thank God for that. Back in the day, your home was an extended one for me. Our friendship has existed throughout decades and that exemplifies the protocol and discipline that your mother instilled in you just like my mother and godmother instilled in me. Up to this point, our friendship didn't necessarily require consistent communication because your mother was our liaison. Whenever I saw your mother, I would always ask about you. I'm going to miss that connection which has been a part of my life. The fact that your mother and my dad were in the same prayer group allowed for our connection on yet another level.
My brother, God knows how you feel but our days are numbered from the time that we're in our mother's womb. So, be thankful and honor your mother for the years of dedication to God and the family. Quite often, people talk about the tombstone. There are two years with a dash in the middle which represents the life of a person. David, your mother lived a Christian life. She wore her nursing uniform with such dignity and was there to help the sick. The volunteer services that she performed helped others. Obviously, the Lord told her last Friday to get on the plane and journey to her reward. I'll truly miss you and remain thankful that I still have my mom and dad.
Be strong and be of good courage. I'll always be there for you my brother.
