Obituary of Raymond F. Meisenbacher
Raymond Meisenbacher, Sr. age 74, died on Monday, Novemeber 6, 2006 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. He was born in Newark, grew up in Irvington and raised his family in Middlesex before moving to Bedminster. Mr. Meisenbacher entered the Marine Corps after high school and served during the Korean War. After his discharge, he entered Seton Hall University where he earned a B.A. in English. He then taught Civics in Middle School for 16 years in Elizabeth. Mr. Meisenbacher graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 1973 and started practicing law in 1974 in Little Falls before moving his practice to Bridgewater in 1995. He was the Vice President for the NJ Creditors Bar Association and was an avid reader. He is survived by his children, Raymond Jr. and his wife Ellen, Luke and his wife Lisa of Montgomery Township, Thomas and his wife Mary Ann of Basking Ridge, Patrick Neil and his wife, Tsuey-Ping of Warren, Mark and his wife, Kirsten, Peggy C. Tallier and her husband Joseph of Tenafly and Lisa K. Meisenbacher of Basking Ridge; his brother, Richard Meisenbacher of Bridgewater. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren and Claire Meisenbacher, loving mother of his 7 children. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
