Dear Ferris family,
Your parents were very dear customers of mine. Everytime they came in to visit me, it was a pleasure taking care of them and talking to them. Mrs. Ferris kept in touch with me, after the store was sold and always sent me Christmas cards and kept me abreast on what was going on in her life. I really enjoyed talking to her and keeping up with her life. She will be sadly missed, just as much as your father was missed. They will not be forgotten by me and my family.
