I thought I might get to tell you all what a wonderful friend your mother was to my mother before my momdied. She supported and encouraged my momas she progressed through her radiation treatments. Your mother was a wonderful shoulder for our whole family when our mom died.
I loved talking with your mom. She always had wonderful stories about the grand children especially after baby sitting. She loved letting the kids think they had pulled a fast one on her.... I am sorry there was no time today to tell you all this... Pat

Dianne and family,
How sad I felt when I heard the news of your Mom's passing. Just last week I was up to see my Mom, I can't see her enough in these final days she has left. Mothers are a gift from God, a treasure we hold so tight and don't want to let go. I know the memories you have made with your Mom will stay with you forever and I hope they comfort you in these days of such sadness.
My prayers are with you,Love Diane McNerney

I grew up in Pleasant Plains SI and remember your Mom and Dan and Velten's candy store. They were such great people. I was also friends with the Spollens who lived in Mountain Manor when they moved from Staten Island. Saying a prayer for you and your family at the time of loss. Liz

Darcy, Mr.P, Joe, Michael & AJ: MomMom was a genuinely caring person, she (and all of you) made me and my mother feel like a part of your family. I will always remember her love for her family, her caring smiling and her positive attitude, a truly classy lady. Although this is a difficult time, find comfort in knowing that MomMom is in a better place, with Mr. Velten, and together they will be watching over all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

MomMom (it was years before I knew that her name was Marilyn!) What a wonderful, caring woman who touched everyone's life she she came in contact with. True defination of the word "Mother" & "Grandmother" not only to her own, but to all that she cared about. One hug and she was your "MomMom" too! I know she is getting the card games together in heaven! My love and prayers to you all.

Much thanks to the memory of a truly thoughtful person. Your Mother was so good and kind to my family, and an especially good friend to my own Mother. My first reaction upon the news of Mac's passing was that she is in such good company now.
I know how much you miss her and I can assure you that time will make it easier to handle, but you will always miss her. I am sorry, so sorry for your loss. She was really wonderful and so positive.
I am sorry that this is an e-message, but I am celebrating a birthday with Glenn's father who is in his mid-seventies.
