Joel will always be remembered by Clarkson University for being an alumnus who cared about giving back so other students would have opportunities to find fulfilling careers and make a difference in the world. Together with Lynda he visited and mentored students, contributed to beautifying the campus and provided scholarship money to deserving students. We were fortunate to have many occasions to get to know Joel. He and Lynda were a team and as a team they were respected and admired by many for their spirit, energy and love of life. Our hearts go out to Lynda, Sharon, Gail, Terri and their families . We are so grateful to Lynda and Terri for getting Joel to Albany for the Clarkson ECAC hockey championship game in March. We will never forget when they arrived in a major snow storm only minutes before the start of the game and then our team won….and Joel ‘s presence made that win the highlight of our time at Clarkson. It is a sad day for Clarkson University, for us and for all those that had the opportunity to know Joel.
