Obituary of Marion K. Case

Marion K. Case Marion K. Case, age 79, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007. She was born on October 27, 1927 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Thomas and Nancy (Scavuzzo) Tornabene. Marion at the age of 16 soloed an airplane for Civil Air Patrol and enjoyed doing athletics. She moved from New Jersey in 1987 to Punta Gorda after retiring. Marion was a charter member and the first female Captain of Burnt Store Isles Boat Club and enjoyed being a Charlotte Player. Marion will be greatly missed by her daughter, Karen M. Neckorcuk of Alexandria, VA; son, David A. Mastro of Collegeville, PA; fianc and life long friend of 70 years, John D. Manning of Punta Gorda; along with 2 grandchildren. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church, Warren. Visitation will be prior to the mass from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
