I saw the obituary in the Times-Picayune today and wanted to tell you my experience with Mr. Stockstill. Eleven years ago,when my daughter,Hallie, was ten years old, we met Mr. Stockstill in the N.O. airport. Hallie was flying alone to Newark to meet her aunt and then to Finland. He struck up a conversation with her and they compared snacks. We somehow figured out that he knew my husband through business. Since Hallie had never flown alone before he said he would look after her. He called me from the plane and again when they landed and Hallie was with her aunt. It made me feel so good. That was such a kind, thoughtful and generous act and I have never forgotten him. I'm so sorry for your loss.
