Obituary of Hascal Hyde Stockstill, Jr.
Mr. Hascal Hyde Stockstill, Jr., 64, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Overlook Hospital In Summit.
Born and raised in Picayune, MS, he resided in New Orleans, moving to Warren 15 years ago.
A mechanical engineer, he was employed for the past 11 years by Napp-Greco Co. in Newark; a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Mr. Stockstill received a BS in Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1968.
Hascal had a strong belief in God and was a devoted member of Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church in Warren. He was very intelligent and a true gentleman who lived his life optimistically, never uttering unkind words.
Surviving are his devoted wife of 41 years, Dari Ann Mueller Stockstill; two sons, Jeffrey Stockstill and his wife Dyan of Roswell, GA and Andrew Stockstill of Warren; two daughters, Theresa Hardesty and her husband Bill of Balboa Island, CA and Amy Werner and her husband Ken of Sugarland, TX and 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Brinkly, Madison, Billy, Katie, David, Megan and Kevin.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church, 45 Church St., Liberty Corner on Monday, November 12, 2007 for a 10:30 Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung
