Obituary of Michael F. Coppola
Michael F. Coppola, age 60, died on January 3, 2008 at his home in Warren. He was born in Perth Amboy and grew up in Port Reading, NJ and had moved to Warren 27 years ago.
Mr. Coppola was a self-employed food broker in Warren for over 30 years.
He was a member of the Dunellen Turtles social club and Cigarville in Warren. He also was a member of the Royce Brook Golf Club of Hillsborough
Mr. Coppola attended Concord College in Athens WV where he was a renowned baseball player and a member of TKE fraternity.
Mr. Coppola is survived by his wife, Connie Kingston Coppola; his son, Michael Coppola, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Bridgewater; his daughters, Caroll Sue Fry and her husband Richard and their children, Conner and Micayla of Wall Township and Jacquelyn Coppola and her companion Charlie Gernhardt and their son Charlie Coppola of Denver. Also surviving are his parents, Dominick and Madeline Coppola.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Friday, January 4th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street Plainfield.
