Obituary of Lola E. Curran

Lola E. (Lamperti) Curran, age 76, died on Sunday January 6th, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services in Mountainside. Born in Plainfield, she has resided in North Plainfield for 52 years. Lola retired in May of 1989 after 35 years of teaching elementary school for the South Plainfield School District. She was also a member of St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Curran in 2005. Surviving are her sons Steven Joseph Curran and Michael A. Curran of North Plainfield; her daughter Patricia Curran of New York; four grandchildren Jonathan, Sara, Timothy and Anna Rose. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11th, at 9:45 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
