Obituary of Harold O. Henry, Jr.

Mr. Harold O. Henry, Jr., 52, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Mr. Henry was born and raised in Plainfield. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colombia University, New York and Masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. For the past 25 years, Mr. Henry was a social worker employed full time with the Middletown Board of Education and part time with the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark. His parents, Harold O. Henry, Sr. and Elaine Manley Henry and brother Norman M. Henry all predeceased him. Surviving are a brother, Harrison B. Henry of New York and a nephew, Cameron John Henry of Plainfield. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 12 noon at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11- 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Hale House Center, Inc., 152 West 122nd Street New York, NY 10027 would be deeply appreciated.
