I left Essex County College many years ago, but I remember one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever met was employed there. He was Eugene Tunison. Polite, classy, super intelligent and funny, I always looked forward to going to the Media Center so that I could see him there. I decided to look him up today, although he died a while ago. He left us in 2008.
What a loss to the world. But I hope that Gene, somewhere in heaven, will know that he left behind so much love and care
for others who will remember him for all of their days that remain on earth.
To his family members, I send this belated message of sympathy. He will always be in my heart as a great human being.
