I remember Dennis when he first worked at the Port Authority in Central Survey Group - Our work paths crossed many times during our careers - We retired together in Dec 2000 - We also shared a love of our Coevettes and frequently met each other at club events - Put the pedal to the metal and enjoy the open road in the sky my friend -

My deepest sympathies to the Family of Dennis Thorne.
Dennis to me was an all American Boy. All around good person. Very modest, reserve, sincere, always ready to help, even if we didn't asked him.
I surely will miss his smile, his tone of voice, his optimism and above all, his friendship, since I came to the PA, in 1971. Where, Dennis, share with us his talents, his hobbies for cars.....
We had talk about our families visiting each other. I was looking forward to share some moments in our golden years, at his new place in SC and my place in Fl. I very sorry it didn't happen.
I surly will miss you, Dennis. Thank you for being my friend.
You friend,
TonyTrigo

We've known Dennis ever since 1968. We were married within a month of each other. He is our daughter's Godfather. We've vacationed together for 20 years, moved to South Carolina together and planned to party thru retirement together. A better friend we could not have had. He will be missed, but always loved and remembered. Gonna miss that "Hey Neighbor!".

I will remember Dennis fondly.
I worked with him many yrs. in the PA. We talked about his love for his corvettes and his family. I remember him telling me how they used to make box cars and race them when his kids were little. He often talked about his family. I am retired now a year myself but I was lucky enough to see Dennis at our last Const. reunion BBQ. He will surely be missed. He is now in heaven leading the corvett parade I'm sure.......
