I was so sorry to hear about Loretta. I am very shocked and saddened by her death. I am so sorry I didn't get to see her before she died. During our years at Holy Rosary and high school, we were close friends. I always regretted the fact that we didn't keep in touch and drifted apart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. She was truly an amazing and wonderful person. Palma Yuhas Pucci.

I recently heard of the terrible passing of a wonderful no extraordinary teacher I had when I was younger. Ms. Latore was such a sweet woman who was very patient and understanding with me. I being special education needed a little extra help and she was always there helping me. During the summer I remember being at her house and working on adding and subtracting. Not understanding the concepts in the beginning but by the end of the summer I knew it like the back of hand.
I was always planned on going back to Bayberry, where she taught me to thank her for all her help and tell her how much she affected my life. But now I don't the the chance. I know she's looking down upon all of us, telling us it's okay and she knows.
You'll be forever missed and always in my heart when I think of my elementary years.
Much love, Angela Wische

Loretta was Sandra's tutor for many summers, enthusiastically teaching her, making up math games, and working on her reading skills. It was always fun when the two of them were together, chatting away. She was such a special teacher and Sandra always looked forward to meeting with her. Now they will always be together.
Rest in peace, Loretta.

We thank the Lord for having known and loved Loretta since the day she entered Larry's life and we celebrate her entire life! What a blessing she was to everyone who had the privilege of sharing moments, days and longer in her "molecule" in time. What a magnificent soul, a model who inspired us as wife, mother and friend, as well as the teacher she was and continues to be in the memories we will always cherish. And we pray that we will be worthy of meeting again in our Lord's presence in the Eternal Life to come. May the love and hospitality she sowed in her family's hearts and among her friends be the consolation that enables each one to celebrate her life and work, to thank God for every moment and event that we were able to share with her in her time, short as it was.
In gratitude,
Antonio and Barbara Morales

Loretta will always remain in our hearts. She was an excellent educator who was able to meet each challenge with a keen undertanding of how to teach and the skills to accomplish her goals. I thank her for her efforts, accomplishments and wonderful sense of humor. She will never be replaced. I will miss you, Loretta! May you rest in peace.

I was shocked when I read todays's (March 3.2008) obituaries and saw that Mrs. Latore had died.
As you all know, there was a time when I knew all of you. I guess as we grow, we "grow" distant and apart from those we once knew. I will always hold all the memories close to my heart.
Mr and Mrs. Latore raised three beautiful children and she should be very proud.
The day Mrs. Latore left us was a very sad day and I can guarantee she will never be forgotten.
I will always keep you in my thoughts and in my prayers.
God bless,
Lawrence G. Botts, III
