Ed and I had a long and friendly relationship with Albert and his wife. Many times we would supply food for his birthday parties and visited his home in Mountainside. Albert was always so very nice and friendly towards us, and we will remember him as a kind and helpful person who brought a smile with him whenever he came into Scarpellino's. He will be missed.

Albert was a great friend to me. He had a gift of always making you feel special and important. He had the ability to brighten everyones day. I spent many enjoyable times driving around with him to look at land. During those times he would tell me his thoughts about life in a way that only he could. When I lost my job once, he called me to come over to the office and have some some lunch. I was feeling sorry for myself, but Albert helped me understand how blessed I am. I count him as a true friend, because he was there for me when the chips were down. He told me to go to South Carolina, and thats where I am. I love you Albert. I will miss you.

Uncle Al was the best Uncle anyone could have. So many great memories. Lots of exciting and funny memories in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. We really hit the "Jackpot" by having you as a Uncle. I will always remember, even as a small child, you holding up your finger and saying "Just one Kiss". You will be truely missed. I am so blessed to have known and loved you my entire life. Our prayers are with you and Aunt Dots! Please watch over us. We love you. Many hugs and kisses. Love Karen, Misko & Gianna

Dear Mrs. D'Angelo:
On behalf of the members of Mauro, Savo, Camerino & Grant, we extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy with thoughts and prayers to comfort you in the loss of someone very special. We considered Albert a good friend and will miss his warm smile and gentle greetings and embrace.
Albert's obituary said he was larger than life, which is an accurate description. We knew him to be a man who was generous and compassionate in a quiet way with an unassuming manner. He was a man whose heart was larger than his body and helpful to all without asking for credit or reward.
Albert will be missed, but fondly and lovingly remembered.
Father Anthony Ciorra will remember Albert in a Mass the week of March 17, 2008 at Fordham University.
May God bless you.

Big Al, as he was know to me. Was one of the most gregarious, friendly, voices I spoke to often as my job of receptionist at Bohler. I knew Al from the sound of his voice and we shared many a warm banter. I am very moved and heartbroken by his passing and will miss everything I came to know about him. My deepest condolences go out to all who knew Al and to all those who didn't get the chance to.

Uncle Al was the best Uncle anyone could have. We all loved him and Aunt Dot so much. So many great memories. My kids will never forget "Fred" and when he would hold up his finger and say to them, "Just One!" and they would laugh. I am proud they got to know Uncle Al and spend time with him, like I did growing up. He will truly be missed. Our prayers are with him and Aunt Dot! We love you. Love, Dede, Anthony, Dominic, Nicholas, Vincent and Isabella Vignali

Being invited to Dottie and Alberts 50TH Anniversary celebration made Dan and I feel very special. When Albert spoke with you he looked into your eyes and gave you his undivided attention making you feel what you were saying was very important. Although we didn't see each other often I always felt close to Albert because he looked more like my father than my own brother.
He always asked about my grandchildren even though he never saw them, but I always had pictures to show being a proud grandmother. His warmth and generosity to all will be remembered with special memories by Dan and I.
Sleep peacefully cousin, the world has lost a gentle giant.
