Dear Janet, Bruce, & George Jr. - I am so sorry to hear about your moms passing. Both my mom Marie and my brother Sheldon worked for both your parents back in the 60's. It was a simpler time then and the Bette I remember was always busy but smiling as she kept everything running smoothly. Your mom & dad were quite a team. My sincerest sympathy to you and your families. Peggy Kohl

Dear Janet, Georgie, & Bruce,
Norm and I are so, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know that it's just over a year since losing your Dad. Your Mom was a wonderful person. She always treated me so kindly. After I moved on to other employers, I always held your Mom in the highest regard of how employees should be treated. I enjoyed the years I worked at Dealaman Enterprises. I know how proud your parents were of their children and grandchildren, and how thrilled they must have been to welcome a great grandchild to the world and the family.
I lost my Mom last February 5th, and still grieve for her. I know how horrible the suffereing can be and we must take solace in knowing that the suffering is over for them.
I was not able to locate any public services for your Mom so I must assume that they were private. I found out about the memorial service at around 5pm Friday evening or surely I would have been there.
Norman has been gravely ill as well. These times are so difficult!
Carry on, take heart in knowing how much all of you were loved by your Mom and how happy and proud that each one of you made her.
You are in my thoughts. I am truly blessed to have spent so many wonderful years getting to know your family, your Mom will always hold a very special place in my memories and my heart.
Our deepest, deepest sympathy to the family.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Bette. Each time we met, she was kind, warm and very sweet to me and my family. My husband and I watched her children and grandchildren grow up during the 51 years that I have lived in Warren and feel that this is the loss of a beautiful era in Warren's history. My husband Edward and daughter, Kathy also extend their sympathy. May God give Bette and George eternal peace together.

I've known Bette and George my entire life. Four generations of our family, beginning with my parents Paul and Evelyn Schonwald, through to my own grandchildren, always looked forward to those very special, spectacular picnics every August. It was a time to talk to them and their extended family and for the children to see peacocks and piglets up close. Bette was always a very warm and hospitable woman who made you feel very special during these visits. We always left feeling so happy to have spent the day with Bette and the Dealaman family. She will be sorely missed. Love, Gail

I think that your mother(grandmother) was a wonderful woman. I remember her as a devoted grandmother. I can still picture her sitting in the bleachers watching the kids' baseball games. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a very special lady who will be missed. Thinking of all of you..............

Though kin I only met Betty once. That was in her very efficient office and we had but a few minutes. She helped me to understand the family. Though Glenn had fixed up her childhood home she said she never went back.
As we get older we slow down and sit in an old porch rocker. When He is ready the screen door opens with a squeak and God extends His hand in welcome. Those of faith know the two will chat. How long, as long as a memory. God bless her and the family. May their grief be short and memories pleasant.
