Obituary of Elizabeth Mae Dealaman
Warren: Elizabeth (Bette)Dealaman, age 81, died on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Dover, NJ. She was born on June 20, 1926 to John and Clara Betzold of Mountain View Road and remained a lifelong resident of Warren, NJ.
Mrs. Dealaman, along with her husband, George, owned and operated Dealaman, Enterprises. Inc.
Bette loved having her family and friends around her. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion. She enjoyed her flower gardens and watching the Yankees and her favorite NASCAR racers, especially Jeff Gordon.
Mrs. Dealaman was a member of Wilson Memorial Church.
She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, George Dealaman in 2007 and her siblings, John, Edward, Billy, George and Margaret.
Surviving are her sons, George Dealaman, Jr. and his wife Susan and their sons, Jeff and Kyle: Bruce Dealaman and his wife, Cynthia and their children, Adam, Shane, Clint and Shannon; and her daughter, Janet Abeles and her husband, Bruce and their children, Aaron, Evan, Alex and Chris and his wife Ginny and their son, Andrew George, Bettes great-grandson. She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Betzold and her sisters, Dorothy DeVilbis and Clara Youngman. Her devoted caretaker and friend, Anna, has been a great comfort.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday May 9, 2008 at Wilson Memorial Union Church, 7 Valley Road, Watchung, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funeral, Watchung.
