Mike was the reason that I took a job offer at Linden Electric. Fact is, I almost had to beg Terri to hire me. He had a charisma that I wanted to be exposed to.
In my years there, Mike was an inspiring teacher. He wouldn't spoon feed you. But if you put in the effort, and did all proper research on a subject, then he would guide you through questions until you KNEW what you were talking about.
A memory that has to be shared is as follows. Mike was talking to Paul about putting an addition on the building. Paul said, "you don't know how to build an addition."
Mike immediately replied, "I'm a Marine. I can do anything." To me, that was Mike.
Proud to have known and loved the man. Fact is I've called him numerous times in the last few years. He was always eager to offer assistance.
Thank you, Mike for the benefits that my family has enjoyed as a result of your tutelage and confidence. You'll always be remembered with a warm smile.
