Muriel was my Yoga Instructor, my guiding light, and I was her young student in 1967 of 19 years old. I owe everything to her. I was her only protege'as she called me. She had a belief in my ability to teach and trained me and set me up with classes. I went on to teach on television and have had a very successful life as a Yoga celebrity. Without her, I may have never had a life as I was a very troubled teen. She was an angel and a strong disciplinarian in her training. I could never repay her except to pay it forward. She is always with me and a part of her is with me in every Yoga experience that I have. I sat at her feet for hours into the wee hours learning all that she told me. She also told me to never give up mayonaise...and Muriel...I haven't! I love you. Your obedient student always.
