Obituary of Muriel Schneider

Muriel Schneider passed from this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at JFK Hartwyck @ Cedarbrook. Muriel was born in Queens, NY. She received her BS degree in Education from Trenton State Teachers College and taught for several years in the Trenton area. She owned and operated Oakhurst Inn in Millerton, NY with her husband Mario and brother and sister-in-law, Art and Verna Vetter for 5 years. She and her husband also managed several restaurants in NJ. Muriel has lived in the Plainfield area for over 35 years and has worked privately and for the Plainfield Board of Education as a Yoga Instructor for over 30 years. Muriel is predeceased by her husband Mario Schneider and she is survived by her brother, Arthur Vetter from Nashua, NH. She leaves behind many friends and students, who will greatly miss her friendship and guidance. A service of celebration of Muriels life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Unitarian Society Church, 724 Park Avenue, Plainfield. Cremation was private. The arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Plainfield.
