I knew Mrs. Chamblee many years ago through her daughter Amy. I remember back in high school when she invited students from Covenant Christian into her home to fellowship. She greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. She was blessed with the gift of hospitality.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Amy, Tom and the kids as you celebrate the life of a woman who loved the Lord with all her heart and loved her family and would do anything for them.
I will always remember sitting with her and talking at the Lighthouse. She was very friendly, warm, caring, and always had a smile, even on days she wasn't feeling quite well. I will miss that smile, and her caring ways.
