Obituary of Alice Bernero

Beloved Mother Alice Bernero Bedminster: Alice (Pellegrini) Bernero, age 84, died on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Alice was born in Italy and had lived in Elizabeth and Westfield before residing in Bedminster 12 years ago. Alice worked for Kolkers childrens store in Elizabeth for 15 years as a sales person. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville. Alice enjoyed word puzzles and dancing. She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony P. Bernero and her brother, Angelo Pellegrini. Alice is survived by her two sons, Paul Bernero and his wife Vera of Bridgewater and David Bernero and his wife Ellen of Somerset; one sister Anna Giordano of Monroe Township; two grandchildren, Matthew and Gregory. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 9:00 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Martinsville. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O.
