Whenever Steve was nearby, you were certain to have a good laugh! He worked sooo hard, but usually managed to come up with something crazy or silly to make us laugh and we would forget, even if only for a moment, just where we worked. Peace to him and to his family - we miss him...

Dear Steve,
I have known you since the Skillman days and will always have that memory (& photo) of you in that daring half man/ half woman Halloween costume. You were always so much fun to work with and I was fortunate to work with you again at Mountainview. Even through your illness you somehow managed to maintain your sense of humor. You have taught me so much about courage and acceptance. You will always be in my heart.
Love,
Karen

From the time I interviewed and hired Steve he was an asset to the education department. He was always smiling and his sense of humor kept us laughing many times. We were all blessed that he was a part of our lives. I could always count on him to do whatever needed to be done. I treasure the short time that Steve was in my life. He fought a battle with dignity and courage. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am honored to have known him. You will always be remembered.

Steve made everyday with him one to look forward to. I can't help but smile when I think of all the fun we had at MYCF and at the DOT. The memories are priceless. He was one of a kind. I thank God that I had the opportunity to become his friend.
