My Dearest M~
The Thing I Can Not Say, I say to you now, though sorrowfully too late: I love you, and have, and will forever. You have been my most trusted friend, and not walking with you in the light will be my life's most sincere regret. The words and letters we shared for those ten years I will hold to my heart, and I will try to honor you each day in some small way. Your grace and beauty and love and faith have touched me and changed me and I am forever in your debt. Forgive me, M, if ever I hurt you in any way, and know that I was always, and forever will be, yours.

To my favorite cousin!
Although we haven't seen much of each other when we were adults, I'm glad to hold the fondest memories of our childhood times. We always had such a special time together when you were visiting in Germany. I was so proud to introduce my “cousin from America” to all my friends.
And then of course there was our 5 week visit in the US when I was 11 and you 14. I was very happy to have a big 'sister' to talk to. Remember, when we sneaked into Norman's room while (we thought) he was asleep and squeezed his big toe, because you had heard that this would make people tell the truth.
I also remember how much fun we had at the swimming pool recording the "Mystery on the boat" with you as "Jennifer Bond".
It’s hard for me to believe what has happened. You will always have a very special place in my heart!
With lots of loving thoughts,
Barbara and family

To her beloved Family,
My husband Rich and I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss of Monica. I am very grateful I met her just a few weeks before she went Home to the Lord. My brother Rafael brought her home to meet everyone before my sister went back to Hawaii. She impressed everyone by her beautiful disposition, her smile and her joy. I wish I had known her longer, for she was exactly the kind of person with whom I would have loved to have been friends. I was amazed that the Lord took her Home on August 2. It is the Feast of Our Lady of the Angels. I know Monica had a great devotion to Mary. May she enjoy Their Presence forever!

Feastday of Our Lady of Snows
Thy Kingdom Come
Dear Norm and Claudia, Sam and Teresa and Mr and Mrs. Zimmer and Rafael in Christ,
I never met Monica in person but I was blessed with a dear friendship with her on the internet.
Monica is the friend who taught me to become a stealth Catholic. Her brilliant and tactful but gentle and feminine warmth and friendship brought many hours of peace and happiness.
Her love for you, Norm, and for her Dad and Mom and for Rafael, and, especially, her dear grandmother in Germany, was a love she shared with me many times.
I cannot imagine how shocked and sorrowful you must be.
You can count on my prayers for the repose of Monica's soul. I am placing her in the care of the Holy Souls in Purgatory immediately.
Monica will be remembered for her vibrant, living faith, her love for our Blessed Mother, particularly, her love for our Lady of Medjugore, her daring and charming, winning way, and her courage in remaining a Catholic woman who defended her faith with deep reverence for the love our Lord brought into her life.
I am very sorry to learn this news. Hopefully, of some solace for you would be to learn Monica, who loved our faith so well and so tenderly, was called on the feast day of St. Alphonsus de Liquori, founder of the Redemptorists.
May the soul of our faithful departed Monica Zimmer, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. And may perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
Under the mercy,
In Christ,
