Uncle Joe will always remain in my heart as a kind and generous man, with a deep, gentle chuckle and keen sense of humor. I'm so glad that I was able to accompany my mom to see him in March for her birthday and spending some private time in his and Aunt Rose's home remains one of my fondest memories. While the lovely light of his life has gone out, he has lit many other candles that remain ablaze and will honor his life for many years to come.
