Dear Mundy Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Mundy was my 3rd grade teacher. She was my favorite teacher ever! I had her back in the '75 -'76 school year at Washington Valley School, and I must tell you, many things I learned in her calssroom, I still teach my own children to this day...even though my oldest is now 17.
Mrs. Mundy did wonderful things for all of her students, neighbors & community. I know she will be missed by all.
She will always be in my heart!
Love to you all!
Laurie (Lutz - maiden name)

Mrs. Mundy was my 4th grade teacher in Grant School, So. Plainfield. That was in 1951! Of all the teachers I had throughout my schooling, she was the most special. I have so many memories.... She was a kind, cheerful, excellent teacher. Our class went to her house in Warren for a picnic and Sundae was a big hit with all of us. I cherish the memories of my favorite teacher.

Hazel always had a generous smile and warm heart. She enjoyed being with friends and family and always made everyone feel welcome in her home. Hazel was devoted to her daughter, Sundae and her three beautiful grandchildren It was obvious to everyone how proud she was of her family.Hazel will be missed by many but her life was fully lived and the happy memories are still lingering. She lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
When I remember Hazel, Frank is there as well. Both of them at family gatherings, lending their friendly welcoming voices. Herb and Peg, Frank and Hazel, Missy,Baby Terry and all the great grandmas/grandpas are all attending the banquet in the presence of Jesus who welcomes them. They are happy and whole again, no more tears, no pain, no sickness, only joy.

As God extended his hand to Hazel and she left to walk through a beautiful valley memories of so many children she taught skipped along with them. Frank and family will greet them with love at her eternal home. How long will the walk take, as long as a memory. May their grief be short and memories forever. God bless this family and many friends.

As Melissa's friend through college and today, I have many memories of meeting 'Gram.' She was so kind and caring and had a great love for her family. I could tell every time I talked to her. And she always remembered who I was, even though it would sometimes be over a year between the times when I saw her. My thoughts go out to Melissa and her family at this time.
