Obituary of Hazel Louise Mundy

Hazel Louise Mundy, age 85, died on Sunday, March 08, 2009 at her daughters home in Doylestown surrounded by her family. Hazel was born in Plainfield to the late Peter and Maude Catherine Freiday and had lived in Warren for 79 years before residing in Ringoes 6 years ago. Hazel was a teacher for the South Plainfield and Warren Board of Education, retiring in 1994 with over 50 years experience. She attended Trenton State College obtaining her MA degree in Education in 1972. She loved teaching, cooking, writing and communications. Hazel is predeceased by her husband Frank Lewis Mundy in 2006; and her two brothers, Donald and Milton Freiday. She is survived by her daughter, Sundae Mundy Taylor and her husband Clement; three grandchildren, Clem G. Taylor III, Catherine Freiday Taylor Ph.D, Melissa Mundy Sykes and her husband Trey. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 11 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. The interment is private.
