As long as I have been with Glenn I have known the Piggot's.
Over the years I have grown to love Chick and Rosalie so much. I have admired them for years for the wonderful people they always were. They opened their hearts and home to all. They were so much more than just parents to their children they were their best friend.I want to be that kind of parent to my children, I have learned so much from having know them. I will never forget Mr. & Mrs. P and I will miss them both so much

To all of the Family and friends of Chick,
I had a unique 1st time meeting with "Chick" as well as the rest of the Piggot family that I won't forget. It was in Bayonne at Charlie's 39 St. house that Nohra and Jeff were renting. They had a get together for Jefferey Jr. who was just born. So I was nervous being the "NEW" guy to the family. As I pulled into the long driveway many cars extended down the hill. I said to Jenny "who's here"? she replied just my sister's and "The Piggots" so I was even more nervous. As I entered the back door I could smell the food of choice...."Chinese from S.I." And the 1st person I saw was Chick with his back to me, as he turned around to greet me I heard some one say "Dad put your teeth in!" Now being the nervous guy I didn't know what to do wait or just barge in? So I stopped and everyone came to greet me and Chick turned and welcomed as did all of the family members. As I settled into the house the warmth of the Family gave me a comfortable feeling that has not left me to this day. I thank you for your friendship from that day to now. I will always include Chick and Rosalie in my prayers, God Bless you all from the bottom of my heart.

Charlie,
My heart goes out to you, along with my prayers for you and your family. After reading all the memorials for your father, I now know where you got your big heart, and your wonderful understanding of having a family. Many people spoke of how your father was such an inspiration to them, and after all these years I know now, how you were able to be a father figure to John. You are truly your fathers' son, and I want to thank him for teaching you to be such a wonderful person. God Bless you and Family.

My name is Kerry McDevitt and I only know Mr. Piggot's daughter, Lisa, by being cousins with the Levan family on 38th Street in Bayonne. Lisa, my condolences on the loss of your father. My parents also grew up in Bayonne, & I always got a kick out of the fact that everybody always seemed to have a nickname. Anyone named "Chick" Piggot I'm sure was a good time waiting to happen. I probably met your father @ Aunt Patsy's house over Judickies sprinkled doughnuts or @ Mary's Husband's Pub, or @ Lisa or Laurie's wedding. My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family.

Chick,
I want you to know how much of an impact you and your family have had on my life. The Lord took you from us, but no one can take away the wonderful memories I have of you and Rosalie. You were always there for me. You always made life brighter with your humor and wit. You have been such an inspiration. I love you and will never forget you.
You leave behind such wonderful children who are following in your footsteps of generosity and kindness, and for that I thank you.
Rest in peace, and give Rosalie a hug and kiss for me. I know you are now together in Heaven.
Love Always,
Danny

I had the pleasure of meeting "Chick" when I was 5 years old that will be 35 years ago this June.He and his wife Rosalie opened their home, and hearts to me,treating me like a son, like so many others. There are many stories I have about Chick he was like a second dad to me. I'll miss his contageous laugh and enduring smile even his Joey Joey Joey when i did something wrong! He often would come up to me and pinch my ear and talk to me,I thought he was teaching me about carpentry, turns out he was teaching me about life! He was wise caring loving man, complex but easy to understand his lessons. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying watching football with him Charles and Ronald man it was like old times at 41 east 38th street. I'll never forget what you gave to me and taught me Chick I'll never be able to repay that debt in a thousand lifetimes,Thank You. Sometimes saying goodbye is difficult for me, so I'll say till we meet again, I love You. Man I wish he was pinching my ear! P.S. Chick don't drive Rosalie crazy.
Love Joey
