Obituary of Charles Piggot

Charles "Chick" Piggot Jr., age 72, died on Friday, March 6, 2009 at his home in Green Acres, FL, with his family at his side.Chick was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ to the late Charles Piggot Sr. and Winiford Campbell. He has lived in Watchung for the past 9 years. Chick is a former communicant of St. Vincent's R.C. Church in Bayonne. He is the co-founder of Preferred Inc., a construction company in Bayonne, which he ran for 25 years until retiring. He later formed a tire recycling company with his sons, called Integrated Tire. Chick was an avid NY Giant and Yankee fan.Chick is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Rosalie Impalli Piggot in 2000.He is survived by his two sons, Charles and his wife Christine of Grand Island, NY; Ronald and his fiancee Love of Watchung; his two daughters, Lisa Wagner and her husband Tim of Watchung, and Cheryl Piggot of Watchung; one sister, Joy Reisert of Monroe; 8 grandchildren, Cydney and Taylor Wagner, Charles and Madison Piggot, Ashley, Gabrielle and Cameron Piggot, Tyler Piggot; and his companion Phyllis O'Hare.The funeral will be held on Friday, March 13th at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung with a 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary Stony Hill R.C. Church, Watchung. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
