Richard and I will always remember lunches with Uncle Charlie, telephone conversations, and driving in the car looking at the scenery.
As a child I will always remember and cherish the lunches, dinners at Aunt Lil's and Uncle Charlie's home and being with my cousins (their children).
These are blessed memories that I can share with my son (Richard Ryan Parke).
Richard and I are so blessed to have the love from Uncle Charlie. Richard is blessed to have a great uncle who has shaped my son's life. Richard always was so excited to be able to visit his great-uncle. Richard never wanted me to visit Uncle Charlie without him.
Between Uncle Charlie and Richard's grandfather (my father) they were both telling Richard the importance of doing well in school and listening to his mother (me). I am blessed that Richard has listened to both male figures in his life and is doing exactly what was told to him.
As my son told me, "We have yet another angel who will be looking after us from heaven."
Uncle Charlie, you and Aunt Lil have planted good seeds in your family and you can see this through your children and their children. May I be blessed to be able to do the same with my son.
Uncle Charlie, I am touched knowing that you will always be there for Richard and me.
You have touched so many peoples lives and I am blessed and proud that I am your niece and that you are my son's great uncle.
I know that you will be rewarded greatly in Heaven for all of the great works you did here on earth. May peace be with you.
