Obituary of John Edward Klingert

Warren: John Edward Klingert, 17, died suddenly on Friday, April 10, 2009. Born in Red Bank, he resided in Washington State before moving back to Warren. John was a junior at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren and was a member of the JV Football team where he played on special teams. He was an avid skier and he just began playing the electric guitar. He was a first degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he loved hiking and skiing in the Cascade Mountains. Surviving are his parents, Jack and Teri Collins Klingert and a sister, Dani, all of Warren; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Joan Klingert of Tappan, NY and his maternal grandmother, Ann Collins of New City, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 am from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. To send condolences, please visit www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
