My Grandma "Gussie" was the most beautiful woman in the world. She was kind, yet steadfastly fierce when it came to her family. She was full of love to share. She had a laugh that was infectious and a surpising sense of humor. She was an independent, strong woman that taught me to never put anything before family and to hold true to what you as an individual feel and believe. If there was ever a person I have wanted to be, Grandma "Gussie" was that person. I am going to miss her but I have the most wonderful memories to share and remember. Grandparents play an extremely important part in a childs life, they help to fill that childs life with the implements that shape them into adults and they bring a level of comfort and love that is so very important. Grandma Gussie felt very strongly about celebrating each ones life and she would not want me to dwell on her passing, instead she would want me to share my memories and stories. I could not keep one promise that I made to her, but I can and will keep this promise. I look so forward to sharing them....
